Oh what a fun way to start off February with a classic wedding at Calamogis Ranch! It was a wonderful celebration at one of our favorite venues, and it felt like summer!
Kenny and Rachel had their ceremony under a hundred year old oak tree covered in flowers and cascading lights. Oh what a dream!! As we were photographing the toasts we watched Kenny place his hand on his bride’s chair and pull her as close as he could to put his arm around her, and Rachel leaned her head against his shoulder and just took it all in. What a beautiful love they have for each other and what a wonderful moment to remember! Congrats Kenny & Rachel!
Our hearts are overflowing with thankfulness for this fabulous year! We met and photographed so many incredible, classy, timeless, gorgeous, and madly in love couples who made us fall in love with wedding photography again and again! And we worked with the BEST vendors in the industry and couldn’t imagine weddings without them! We are thrilled to share a few of our favorites with you, and we can’t wait for all of our 2016 weddings!! Cheers!
About a year ago we ran into Chris while shopping in Santa Barbara and he told us all about Holly! He told us how wonderful she is, and how he knew she was the one and he was preparing to propose soon! We were thrilled and couldn’t wait to see how he would ask. Chris always has creative ideas and his proposal plan was nothing short of epic! He proposed while on a hot air balloon ride, and got the whole thing on video, talk about dreamy?! Chris + Holly are such a cute couple, and their wedding was beautiful and filled with vintage classic details! Just wait till you see her dress, it’s gorgeous! We are so excited to share a few from their special day!
This bible was carried down the aisle by the bride’s grandma on her wedding day over 50 years ago!
The bridal party prayed for the bride and groom right before the first look.
Moments like this are part of the reason we love wedding photography! In lieu of a bouquet toss Holly had an anniversary dance. Knowing her grandparents would win, she gave her bouquet to her grandma at the end of the dance! As we saw their embrace we started to get teary eyed. This was taken right as she gave her the bouquet, and you can see the love on their faces! Hugs from grandma are always the best, and moments like this will continue to be told told for generations to come!
Dave + Morgan’s contagious adventurous spirit and happiness was a joy to photograph! These two travel the world together experiencing culture and traditions, their love for each other is nothing short of extraordinary!
Their timeless and elegant wedding was a dream to photograph, and we are so excited to share it with you!
