Josh and Laura are awesome! They are the type of couple who makes you want to air high five everyone around you! Yeah, they’re that awesome! And as you may have guessed, their wedding was nothing short of awesome! It took place in beautiful downtown Santa Barbara at the SB Historical Museum, and they got ready at the newly renovated El Encanto. They picked two of my favorite locations, which was a dream come true for photography!! Laura was absolutely stunning, Josh looked so handsome and their bridal party and families are fantastic! It was a glorious day and a perfect celebration of their marriage!! Congrats Josh and Laura!!

Lupe the most stunning pregnant woman I’ve ever seen!! She makes being pregnant look SO good! The craziest thing is, it was over 90 degrees in Santa Barbara as we did this photoshoot, and Greg and Lupe still look stunning as always!! I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding 3 years ago, and I am so honored and excited to continue capturing their family!!! We are also doing a newborn photoshoot once the baby is born, which I am so excited about! They will make such amazing parents, and with their good looks, I can’t wait to see how amazing their baby is!
Thanks to Leah from Unveiled for doing a fantastic job on Lupe’s makeup!!
Montecito was the perfect spot for Tyler + Monica’s engagement session! The Four Seasons is always gorgeous, and with amazing flowers, golden sunlight and Butterfly Beach across the street, it was perfect in every way!
Tyler + Monica are an amazing couple and they have such a sweet love for each other!! James and I absolutely loved spending the last few hours of sunlight with them! From the moment they walked up, till the last photo we took, we were amazed at their good looks, amazing outfits, and the sweet way they look at each other! We are SO excited for them and we can’t wait to photograph their wedding this fall!
If you know me, you know how much I LOVE white lace dresses, so when Jordan told me she was having a wedding where the guests are wearing different shades of WHITE I got SO excited!! Tyler + Jordan are an amazing couple they are so much fun!! Their wedding was beautiful and they allowed extra time in their timeline for photos of the two of them, which made me SO happy!! We found some amazing hidden secret spots at their venue, and right before their grand exit Jordan changed dresses and we headed to Butterfly Beach for sunset photos!! It was a photographer’s dream come true!! James and I are so excited for these two lovebirds, and we can’t wait to see their love grow!!
By having the guests wear shades of white, it made for one of my favorite family photos! The neutral colors always photograph well!!
Always a dream to work with Tyler Speier Events, so we had to include him in our photo with the bride and groom!!
I love this family! I always love when I can continue to photograph wedding clients as they start their family!! I photographed Ruben + Amanda’s wedding a few years back, and now they have two beautiful girls!! When they contacted me about a huge family photoshoot I was thrilled! The whole family was able to be together for the first time in years to celebrate Nathan’s graduation from Westmont…so it was the PERFECT time for a photoshoot!! We had a blast, and we all ended up making fools of ourselves trying to get each kid to laugh and smile!! I am so thankful for this wonderful family, and I am so happy with these beautiful photos!!
Gosh I love these two! They have one of the best stories!
They’ve had a crush on each other since elementary school!! How crazy is that?! Cody transferred schools in fourth grade, and he noticed Amy right away. Over the next few years they got closer and closer as friends, started sitting by each other in every class, instant messaging each other till 3am! Then in high school Cody was the captain of the basketball team and Amy was the captain of the cheerleading squad, talk about the perfect high school set up! Their junior year they went on a double date and afterwards when they were walking on the beach Cody got down on one knee and asked her to be his girlfriend! Fast forward 8 years later, and Cody got back down on one knee and asked her to marry him! Their story seems like it’s straight out of a book, and when you meet them you know their love for each other is genuine and inspiring!
James and I were so excited to photograph the Cody’s surprise proposal to Amy a few months back, and we had an amazing time photographing their engagement session last weekend! Since the proposal was on a rooftop in downtown LA (dreamy, I know) we decided to do something entirely different for the engagement session! We headed up the mountain to Knapp’s Castle and it was incredible! The light was golden and gorgeous! While we were shooting a group of 30-40 people arrived so we had a bit of challenge shooting around them, but Cody and Amy were great and we successfully avoided the group and got some breath taking images! Enjoy!
