About a year ago we ran into Chris while shopping in Santa Barbara and he told us all about Holly! He told us how wonderful she is, and how he knew she was the one and he was preparing to propose soon! We were thrilled and couldn’t wait to see how he would ask. Chris always has creative ideas and his proposal plan was nothing short of epic! He proposed while on a hot air balloon ride, and got the whole thing on video, talk about dreamy?! Chris + Holly are such a cute couple, and their wedding was beautiful and filled with vintage classic details! Just wait till you see her dress, it’s gorgeous! We are so excited to share a few from their special day!
This bible was carried down the aisle by the bride’s grandma on her wedding day over 50 years ago!
The bridal party prayed for the bride and groom right before the first look.
Moments like this are part of the reason we love wedding photography! In lieu of a bouquet toss Holly had an anniversary dance. Knowing her grandparents would win, she gave her bouquet to her grandma at the end of the dance! As we saw their embrace we started to get teary eyed. This was taken right as she gave her the bouquet, and you can see the love on their faces! Hugs from grandma are always the best, and moments like this will continue to be told told for generations to come!

How cool is this couple for getting married at the Zoo?? When they contacted me and told me they were getting married at the zoo, I was thrilled! Not only is the Santa Barbara Zoo an amazing and beautiful location, they also bring the animals out for part of the cocktail hour AND guests get to feed the giraffes!! Incredible!! Jason and Liz are a fun and playful couple, and their wedding was a beautiful celebration of their marriage!! James and I had a blast photographing their wedding, and we still can’t get over how cool it was to mingle with the flamingos!! Congrats Jason and Liz!!
Check out this amazing and simple decor: lavender and gold animals! Each guest got a different animal, how fun is that!!
ALWAYS a pleasure to work with our favorite DJ, DJ Heckick
