Sneak peek from the amazing proposal today!! Kaleb planned such a a beautiful and special proposal!! He proposed at their first date spot in Ventura at sunset with an antique ring in a stunning music box!! How cool is that!?! Plus Nicole had one of the most incredible reactions we have ever seen!!! She ran away screaming “no” because she was so surprised, and then she walked back to Kaleb and said yes, of course! Then a few close friends who were hiding in the bushes came running out to say congrats!! So much fun!! I am so excited to share more of these awesome photos and more of their story soon! And for now, here is a sneak peek!!
Something that made the night even more special was that James and I went home right after the proposal and edited all the images and then showed up at their engagement party 90 minutes later with all of their images in a Pass gallery! As they told their proposal story they showed our photos on our iPad to their friends and family!! So fun!! Here is a link to their gallery: http://jessicafairchild.pass.us/kalebandnic/
Last night Jake took Jenny on a Christmas light tour through Starlight Circle, where every house goes all out for Christmas! As they were slowly passing this house the garage door opened with a sign that read “MARRY ME JENNY?” and their parents and grandparents were next to the sign!! Jenny said YES and then turned to see 25 of their friends and family running toward them screaming congrats!! It was such a beautiful moment and James and I absolutely loved photographing it!! And I am EXTRA excited because Jake is my brother in law, so now I am getting Jenny as my sister in law!! Yay! So excited for these two to tie the knot!!
Kyle + Kaylie are fun, cute and playful!! We had an amazing time adventuring around and chasing the light! We found some great spots and I learned something really fun about Kyle. He is great at finding four leaf clovers! How cool is that!?! I had actually never seen a four leaf clover in real life, and when I told him that, he looked down in a patch of clovers and found one!! I was so impressed! Kyle + Kaylie, you are so fun and you make an amazing couple! We are so excited you’re tying the knot, and we can’t wait to photograph your wedding!!
This is the four leaf clover Kyle found!! It’s the first one I’ve ever seen in real life! So impressed by his four leaf clover finding skills
Oh and yes, he is frolicking in the photo on the left…because what else are you supposed to do in a patch of clovers besides frolic
Right as the camera was about to go, a wave came up and James was the only one wearing shoes so he had to run to higher ground. It made for a perfect blooper!!
Cody + Hanna are a lovely couple!! Hanna is one of my very best friends, and it has been amazing to photograph this seaosn of her life!! James and I had the pleasure of photogrphing Cody‘s proposal to Hanna a few weeks ago, which was incredible! James and I hid deep in a cave on top of a mountain with sniper lenses and waited for Cody to drop to a knee! It was a beautiful moment (I cried a few happy tears) and the best part is Hanna didn’t even know we took photos till we showed up at her engagement party with a slideshow!!! We are super sneaky! How fun is that! Then we did an engagment shoot a few weeks later, and it was so fun!! We did their shoot on a beautiful sunny day in Santa Barbara, and it was super windy, but we used the wind to our benefit and made it look like we brought fans with us to make Hanna’s hair flow in the wind!! It was hilarious, and such a blast!! Cody and Hanna are kind and genuine, and some of the most amazing people you will ever meet! We are SO excited for these two to get hitched and we couldn’t be happier!! Congrats Cody and Hanna! We love you guys!!
Since Hanna is one of my bestie I had to take a few photos of just the two of us together!!
Here’s a little sneak peek from their lovely engagement session!
It’s that time of year again when we have dozens of family photoshoots for Christmas and Holiday cards!!! This week we got to photograph one of our favorite families in the world, the Lazos!
We had a blast, and I am so excited to share this one with you!! Aren’t they a good looking family???
Words cannot describe how much James and I love this couple! They are kind and genuine and two of the most incredible people I have ever met!! And the fact that the bride is James’ cousin just makes them even cooler!!!! As moots you know, James and I absolutely love to travel so when we found out that Seve + Brooke were getting married in Colorado we were so excited!! We flew in a few days early and and we had such an amazing time adventuring around Denver and finding some of the prettiest places for photos!! Their wedding took place on November 8th at The Terrace Gardens, and it was breathtakingly beautiful, and the light was unreal! They did a first look, and it was one of my top favorite first looks ever, because Seve’s reaction was priceless! Seve + brooke, thank you for letting us capture your amazing wedding! We love you both so much!
