Words cannot describe how much James and I love this couple! They are kind and genuine and two of the most incredible people I have ever met!! And the fact that the bride is James’ cousin just makes them even cooler!!!! As moots you know, James and I absolutely love to travel so when we found out that Seve + Brooke were getting married in Colorado we were so excited!! We flew in a few days early and and we had such an amazing time adventuring around Denver and finding some of the prettiest places for photos!! Their wedding took place on November 8th at The Terrace Gardens, and it was breathtakingly beautiful, and the light was unreal! They did a first look, and it was one of my top favorite first looks ever, because Seve’s reaction was priceless! Seve + brooke, thank you for letting us capture your amazing wedding! We love you both so much!

Two weeks ago we photographed their proposal, and last weekend we photographed their engagement session!! Hanna and I have been best friends since we were 4 years old, and it has been so fun to get to photograph both their proposal and engagement!!! I am so excited to share more from this shoot, but for now, here is a little sneak peek!!
Here’s a sneak peek from Seve + Broke’s gorgeous Colorado wedding!!
Matt + Selena are awesome! They are so much fun and they have an honest and playful love for each other!! James and I had a wonderful time with them on their engagement shoot! We found amazing light, and we laughed, skipped, dipped and danced alll the way till the sunset! We are so happy for them and so excited to photograph their wedding in spring!!! Congrats Matt + Solena!!
My heart is so happy and so full! DJ and Ali are two of my favorite humans and closest friends and they are perfect for each other!!! I have known both of them for years, and got to watch them fall in love, and it has been such an incredible journey!!! I had the pleasure of being a bridesmaid in their wedding, and it was so fun!!! My dear friend Montana Dennis was their photographer, and when Montana asked me to second shoot their portraits with him my heart was doing cartwheels with happiness!!!!!! Photography is so much a part of who I am I couldn’t resist not take photos, especially of two people I love and cherish so much!!! Montana is a fantastic photographer, and I am so honored he asked me to second shoot!! We had a blast walking around the amazing Grassini winery and vineyard, and found some amazing light!!! I am so excited to share these with you!! So without further ado, here are a few photos from my perspective of being a bridesmaid and second shooter! Yay!
James took these next two images, because I was standing up there as a bridesmaid!!
We are so excited to have Jared + Emily’s Summer Soirée featured on Style Me Pretty today!! Yay!

Joey + Chelsea are an amazing couple, and their wedding was incredible! They got married at The Santa Barbara Club (which is one of my new favorite venues), and then we walked over to the Santa Barbara Court House for some epic golden light photos!! The SB Club has an amazing historical vibe and there were so many amazing old books for photos!! I was in creative heaven!! The SB Court house is always pretty, and it was so fun to have Joey dip Chelsea in the middle of State Street while we were crossing! So dreamy and so fun! Something that I loved about their wedding day is they included their 3 month old son Kaz into the ceremony! Joey held him as he walked down the isle, and they both held him as they walked back up as husband and wife! It brought everyone to tears to see how much they love their son and how important it was to them to have him be a part of their wedding day!! Here are a few from their beautiful day! Congrats Joey + Chelsea + Kaz!
A beautiful and emotional first look:
Ken + Christy Blum flew from Switzerland to California to have their wedding at a beautiful private beach in Santa Barbara followed by a reception at La Cumbre Country Club! It was a perfect sunny day, with amazing light, and so many lovely guests! Since the bride had to fly back home she decided to have shell bouquets instead of flowers, how fun is that?? The bride is a graphic designer and designed all the invites and ceremony programs, and she also had her bridesmaids wear a clear version of the “Heart of the Ocean” necklace in Titanic because she loved that movie so much! I always love when the bride and groom have unique details! It was a beautiful wedding with lovely details and amazing moments! Congrats Ken + Christy!
I am SO excited about this! Hanna is one of my very best friends (fun fact: we met as 4yr olds doing hand motions together at VBS, and we have been friends ever since). She is my oldest friend and I was so honored to photograph Cody’s beautiful proposal to her today!!! James and I hid deep in a cave on top of a mountain with sniper lenses and waited for Cody to drop to a knee! It was a beautiful moment (I cried a few happy tears) and the best part is Hanna didn’t even know we took photos till we showed up at her parent’s house with a slideshow!!! We are super sneaky! How fun is that!?! We are SO excited for these two to get hitched and we couldn’t be happier!! Congrats Cody and Hanna! We love you guys!!
These two lovely humans are not engaged, but we had SO much fun doing a photoshoot while they were visiting Santa Barbara! Jeff is a professional magician, and he is the BEST magician I have ever seen! And Deanna is a princess at Disneyworld, how amazing is that?! They are one of the coolest couples ever, and I am so excited to share a little sneak peek of the magic that happened during our photoshoot!
