just a little glimpse of Alex and Sandy’s beautiful Newport Beach wedding!

We couldn’t have asked for a better day. It was gorgeous and sunny and absolutely perfect. I remember when I met Alex and Sandy when they flew out here from Illinois for their engagement pictures…I didn’t know what they looked like but when I found them inside Starbucks I was so excited because they are such a cute couple, and have so much joy that it just oozes out of them.

The wedding venue was awesome (right on the beach) and every single detail was so well thought out…we were even an hour ahead of schedule, so we got to relax for an hour in the middle of the day…that never happens! Clearly Sandy is a p.l.a.n.n.e.r!!!

I went to this wedding only knowing 3 people: the bride, the groom and one bridesmaid, and I left with about a hundred new best friends…I love it when that happens.

Huggetts I wish you the best in this new season in your life, and I was so blessed to be a part of the celebration!

Carlyle is one of the most incredible women I’ve ever known…I’ve watched her grow into an amazing, beautiful, talented woman who encourages and inspires me each time I get to see her. I’ve known here for 3 years and I can’t believe she’s graduating!!! Carly, you are one of my favorite people and I can’t wait to see all the great things you will do over the next few years!

p.s. I had the pleasure of photographing Carlyle and Melanie Rogers together, so the last few images are a little glimpse of all the fun we had

Alicia is actually a photographer as well, and it was fun to get her to laugh and enjoy being on the other side of the lens….we went to one of my favorite fields and it happened to be just after it rained….so the ground was muddy and I stepped into a hole so deep I thought I wouldn’t be able to get my foot out-but alas I escaped the jaws of the mud and carried on with the shoot-while quoting the “beautiful nail” comedy by Angela Johnson…needless to say we laughed A LOT and had a little too much fun in the muddy field.

breathtakingly beautiful, full of joy, and she’s got a great set of pipes too….just a few of the things that make Samantha so great…we first met in Westmont choir years and years ago and it was so fun to catch up on choir and Westmont while taking her senior photos…here are just a few of my favorites
